Conduktor is intended for users who are at least 13 years old.

Information Collected

Conduktor collects limited personal information.

  • Information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, support messages, or other information you choose to share when contacting support.
  • Email addresses and form responses you submit through embedded update-subscription forms, which are processed by Tally.
  • Billing and transaction information associated with your purchase or license key, which is processed by Polar. Polar may use your email address to send your license key and purchase-related messages.
  • License key information used to validate access. The license key is stored on your device in Chrome extension-local storage.
  • Short-term IP address processing used for rate limiting, security, and abuse prevention.
  • Server-side operational logs generated by the app infrastructure.

Conduktor does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as health information, biometric information, government ID numbers, or precise location data.

  • Manage billing, license keys, free trials, and purchases.
  • Send product updates to users who subscribe to them.
  • Send service-related messages and support responses.
  • Send marketing emails, which you can opt out of.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use.
  • Maintain security and troubleshoot operational issues.

Legal Bases and Consent

Depending on where you are located, Conduktor may process personal information based on one or more of the following: performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, legal obligations, or your consent where required.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Conduktor may use essential cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for operating the website, checkout, support, and security-related functionality.

Conduktor may use PostHog to understand aggregate usage of the getting started flow, including visits to the start page and related onboarding events. Conduktor does not use advertising cookies. If non-essential analytics cookies or similar technologies require consent in your location, additional consent mechanisms may be shown before they are used.

Sharing of Information

Conduktor does not sell your personal information. Personal information may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate the service, including:

  • PostHog for product analytics.
  • Polar for billing, checkout, payments, license-key delivery, and license-key validation.
  • Railway for hosting, database, and infrastructure.
  • Tally for embedded forms and update-subscription collection.

Information may also be disclosed if reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with law, regulation, or valid legal process;
  • protect rights, safety, or security;
  • detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues; or
  • support a transfer of the service, such as a sale or reorganization, if that ever occurs.

Data Retention

Support and contact information is generally retained for as long as needed to respond to your request and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational purposes.

Billing and transaction records may be kept for as long as needed to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

Update-subscription email addresses and form responses are retained until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or they are no longer needed for the purpose for which they were collected.

License keys stored in Chrome extension-local storage remain on your device unless you remove them, reset extension data, or uninstall the extension.

Short-term rate limiting and operational log data is typically retained only as long as needed for security and service operations.

Your Rights and Choices

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected].

Privacy requests are currently handled manually through email. Marketing and update emails will include an unsubscribe method, and you can opt out of them at any time.

Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, billing, security, or legitimate business reasons.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Conduktor does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because there is no consistent industry standard for recognizing or honoring them.

United States Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of a US state with applicable privacy laws, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, subject to legal exceptions. Conduktor does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising based on the current service setup.

Children

Conduktor is not intended for children under 13, and personal information is not knowingly collected from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact [email protected] so the information can be reviewed and deleted if appropriate.

Security

Conduktor uses reasonable measures to protect personal information, including HTTPS, rate limiting, access controls, and the use of third-party infrastructure and payment providers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

International Processing

Conduktor is operated from Kerala, India. Your information may be processed in India and in other countries where service providers operate infrastructure. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to applicable law.
